THE JUSTICES OF THE JUDICIAL COURT OF TEXAS A&M

78th SESSION

Justices are sworn members of the Court and are responsible for constitutional interpretation, legislative interpretation, election regulation, and conflict resolution. In such matters, the Justices ask questions of the parties involved during a hearing and are charged with resolving disputes based on the evidence, testimony, and arguments presented before them.

ZACH REHFELD

Chief Justice 


Zach is a junior Management Information Systems and Business Honors major from Katy, Texas. Outside of SGA, Zach is the Vice-President of Internal Affairs for Business Student Council. Zach has previously interned as a researcher for the Economic Statecraft Program and served as a Global Markets Analyst with the International Trade Administration under the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, DC. In his free time, he enjoys training for triathlons, watching Aggie sports, and hanging out with friends. Following graduation, he plans to attend law school.

DANIELLE RUBIO

Vice Chief Justice 


Danielle Rubio is a senior Political Science major with a minor in Communications from Cypress, TX. She plans to attend law school post-graduation and pursue a career as a judge in the court of law. Outside of the SGA, Danielle is an active serving member in the organization, Philadelphia Sisters. She is also involved at her church, Restoration Church Bryan, along with being in a Missional Community Group within that church. Danielle is currently serving in a leadership position in her church's Youth ministry. In Danielle’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, reading, going to bible study, and doing outdoor activities. She is overall excited for this amazing leadership position as Vice Chief Justice and honored to be able to serve the SGA!

 

ROBERT BLACKBURN

Associate Justice 


Robert Blackburn is a Business Honors major in the class of 2028. Robert is from Frisco, Texas and hopes to practice constitutional law after graduation.

GRANT ATKINSON

Associate Justice


Grant is a sophomore Finance major from Magnolia, TX. Along with having a career in finance, he hopes to one day be elected to Congress. In addition to serving as an Associate Justice, Grant is a committee member on the Texas A&M Student Organization Funding Assistance Board (SOFAB). As a freshman, he held the position of Marshal of the Judicial Court and was a member of the SGA freshman leadership organization (FLO) Fish Aides.
Outside of SGA, Grant enjoys being with family and friends, watching Aggie Football, and playing the piano.
Grant is excited about the opportunity to continue his involvement with SGA, and looks forward to working with his fellow Justices.

ALEXANDER BASTIA

Associate Justice


Alexander Bastia is a sophomore Finance and Business Honors major from Allen, TX. Outside of SGA, he is a member of the Mock Trial team, Business Honors recruiting committee, and an editor for the Texas A&M Journal of law and society. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, reading, and playing pickleball. He is excited for the opportunity to serve in SGA!

 

ALEXANDER ANDRE

Associate Justice


Alexander Andre is a sophomore political science/economics double major from Austin, TX. Along with his role as a Justice, he is a member of Class Councils, the Pre-Law Society, and serves as an editor for the TAMU Undergraduate Journal of Law and Society. Apart from his interest in law and government, he enjoys watching sports, playing board games, and reading. In the future, he hopes to pursue a career in constitutional law.
