Treasurer of the Judicial Court

Associate Justice Alexander Bastia

The Treasurer is charged with overseeing the entirety of the Judicial Court’s budget for the fiscal year. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to making purchases, managing invoices, maintaining inventory of all goods purchased with fiscal funds, and acting as a liaison between the Judicial Court and the Student Government Association Finance Committee.

Clerk of the Judicial Court

The Clerk is charged with serving as the custodian of all court records and documents. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to transferring hard copies of all court records and documents to a digital format in order to make them available to the public via the Judicial Court website, maintaining the filing system for all court records and documents, and delivering Appeals, Writs, Judicial Opinions, or Judicial Orders to the appropriate entities (The Battalion, Student Senate Archives, the parties involved, and any other entity as ordered by the Chief Justice).

Marshal of the Judicial Court

The Marshal of the Judicial Court is a volunteer member of the Court, provided by Fish Aides (a Student Government Association Freshman leadership Organization). The Marshal is charged with performing a variety of administrative and enforcement tasks to assist the Judicial Court in accomplishing its mission. The duties of the Marshal of the Judicial Court include, but are not limited to, setting up the Courtroom for oral arguments, ushering the Justices in and out of the Courtroom, ensuring that an orderly environment is maintained throughout court proceedings, keeping time for the Chief Justice during oral arguments and helping with any other task deemed necessary by the Chief Justice.
