THE JUSTICES OF THE JUDICIAL COURT OF TEXAS A&M
77th SESSION
Justices are sworn members of the Court and are responsible for constitutional interpretation, legislative interpretation, election regulation, and conflict resolution. In such matters, the Justices ask questions of the parties involved during a hearing and are charged with resolving disputes based on the evidence, testimony, and arguments presented before them.
CLAIRE LEFFINGWELL
Chief Justice
Claire Leffingwell is a senior Environmental Studies major and Mathematics minor from Austin, Texas. Claire has been a member of the Judicial Court since the fall of her freshman year, serving as Judge Advocate General, Chief Judge Advocate General, Associate Justice, and now Chief Justice. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and practice environmental law. In her free time, Claire loves to read, tend to her houseplants, and travel.
ZAKI NANDWANI
Vice Chief Justice
Zaki Nandwani is a junior Economics major from the Houston area. Aside from his duties on the Judicial Court, he is also a member of the Pre-Law Society Philanthropy Committee. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out, and reading dystopian novels. Following graduation, he plans to attend law school. He looks forward to serving the court and understanding more about the judicial system.
Sawyer Bagley
Associate Justice
Sawyer is a senior ESET major from Salado, Texas, hoping to pursue a career in consulting and maybe, Constitutional Law. Outside of SGA, Sawyer participates in community outreach through FBC College Station as well as part time judging for high school Speech and Debate tournaments. Sawyer joined Judicial Court in hopes to have a deeper understanding of SGA as well as to serve his fellow Aggies through the Judiciary. This is his fourth year serving on the court, and is honored and counts himself blessed to have the opportunity to serve SGA!

EMMA KATE DALTON
Associate Justice
Emma Kate Dalton is a junior Political Science major from Klein, Texas. Emma Kate is excited to create meaningful change at Texas A&M while gaining a deeper understanding of legal proceedings. Before serving as Associate Justice, Emma Kate was a member of the court's Judge Advocate General Commission. Outside of SGA, she is a member of Pre-Law society and Freshman in Liberal Arts Reaching Excellence. After graduating from Texas A&M, Emma Kate hopes to attend law school. She plans to pursue a career as a public interest lawyer and eventually a political strategist.
CHLOE KIM
Associate Justice
Chloe is a senior English major on the pre-law track with a minor in Economics. Her post-grad goal is to attend law school and practice corporate law. She is involved in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha where she serves on the Philanthropy Committee, the University Disciplinary Appeals Panel, previously on the election commission, and Aggies Progressing in Excellence. Her hobbies include spending time with friends, reading a variety of literature, and trying new restaurants!
DANIELLE RUBIO
Associate Justice
Danielle Rubio is a sophomore Political Science major from Cypress, TX. She plans to attend law school post graduation and pursue a career as a judge in the court of law. Outside of the SGA, Danielle is an active serving member in the organization Philadelphia Sisters. She is also involved at her church Restoration Church Bryan along with being in a Missional Community Group within that church. Danielle is currently serving a leadership position as counselor for the nonprofit organization Impact Retreat. In Danielle’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, reading, going to bible study, and doing outdoor activities. She is overall excited for this amazing leadership position as Associate Justice and honored to be able to serve the SGA!
ZACH REHFELD
Associate Justice
Zach is a junior Management Information Systems and Business Honors major from Katy, Texas. Outside of SGA, Zach is the Vice-President of Internal Affairs for Business Student Council. Zach has previously interned as a researcher for the Economic Statecraft Program and served as a Global Markets Analyst with the International Trade Administration under the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, DC. In his free time, he enjoys training for triathlons, watching Aggie sports, and hanging out with friends. Following graduation, he plans to attend law school.
